Suffolk County Crime Stoppers is asking for help identifying this man who they say stole a $400 vacuum cleaner from a Target store at 98 Veterans Memorial Hwy. in Commack. Credit: SCPD

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers on Wednesday released surveillance camera photographs of a man suspected of stealing a $400 vacuum cleaner from a Commack store last month.

The photos were taken Nov. 21 in a Target store at 98 Veterans Memorial Hwy. after the man entered the store at about 7 p.m., took a Dyson 24 vacuum from a shelf and left the store without paying for it, the police said. The security cameras show him pushing a shopping cart as he leaves the store, police said.

Anyone who can help the police identify the man is asked to make a confidential call to Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS.
