Suffolk County police say Aaron Montemarano, 16, was reported missing on Sunday night when he failed to return to the Montfort Theraputic Residence in Port Jefferson after visiting his family in Mastic Beach over the weekend. Credit: SCPD

Sixth squad detectives are seeking help locating a 16-year-old boy who was reported missing Sunday night, Suffolk County police said.

Aaron Montemarano, who, police said, is on probation and under court order to live at the Montfort Therapeutic Residence in Port Jefferson, visited his family in Mastic Beach over the weekend and did not return to the residence, police said.

He is 5 feet, 8 inches tall, about 135 pounds, with brown eyes and brown curly hair. Anyone with information on his whereabouts can call 911 or 631-854-8652.
