Police seek three in Riverhead motel robbery
A man who walked into the office of the Swiss Motel in Riverhead last month said he was looking for a room, but then pulled a knife for a robbery, police said.
The man was joined by two other men, police said, and the three ransacked the office and a bedroom of the motel on West Main Street, taking cash.
Suffolk County police are looking for the trio, who were last seen walking toward West Main Street.
Anyone with information should contact Crime Stoppers at 1-800-220-TIPS. All calls will be kept confidential and callers are eligible for a cash reward of up to $5,000 for information that leads to an arrest.
