Police seek W. Islip steak stealer
Rib eyes and shell steaks were on the Mother's Day menu for one thief who stole meat worth $300 from a King Kullen supermarket in West Islip, police said Wednesday.
The man took almost two dozen packages of meat from the store on Union Boulevard on Mother's Day, May 8, at about 11 a.m., Suffolk police said.
Surveillance video shows a man who is balding and is wearing a blue shirt, jeans and brown shoes and has a tattoo on his right arm.
They're asking that anyone with information call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-TIPS. All calls will remain confidential, police said.
