Yo, ho, ho and a bottle of rum? For one alleged thief, it turned out to be oh, no, no after Southampton Town police said he was caught on camera stealing a bottle of Bacardi rum from a home in Noyack.

Police said Scott L. Eberle, 40, of Edgemere Drive in Noyack was arrested Wednesday after he was identified in a surveillance video taken during a recent burglary.

Police said Eberle broke into the home and stole the bottle of Bacardi from the kitchen. Nothing else was taken, police said.

Police said the victim had installed the video system following a previous burglary at the home.

Eberle was charged with second-degree burglary, police said. He was arraigned Thursday in Southampton Town Justice Court and remanded to the Suffolk Correctional Facility.
