Police: Vehicle hits woman in West Islip
A female pedestrian hit by a vehicle early Tuesday on Montauk Highway in West Islip was not seriously injured, Suffolk County police said.
The accident occurred at 6:32 a.m. near Snedecor Avenue, just west of the Robert Moses Causeway. Police said no charges were filed.
