An early morning single-vehicle crash led to the brief closure of the William Floyd Parkway in Yaphank on Wednesday — so authorities could deal with icy road conditions, police said.
Suffolk County police said the crash occurred north of the Long Island Expressway at 4:46 a.m.
The driver of the vehicle suffered minor injuries, police said.
Police said a maintenance crew was called in to sand the road surface after the crash.
The northbound lanes were reopened at 6:10 a.m., police said, while southbound lanes were reopened at 6:20 a.m.
