Police said a 24-year-old Huntington woman was arrested and charged with DWI after she failed a field sobriety test during a roadside stop and registered a blood-alcohol content more than three times the legal limit.
State Police said Kristen Tempera was stopped after a trooper saw her gray Honda switch lanes unsafely on the southbound side of the Southern State Parkway Heckscher Spur, south of Exit 45 in East Islip, at 11:45 p.m. Saturday.
Her blood alcohol content was .25 percent, police said. The legal limit in New York is .08 percent.
Police said after she failed field sobriety tests, she was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and traffic violations. She is scheduled to appear in court Feb. 23.
