Power has been restored to Greenport after an outage left the village in the dark Monday morning, according to a spokeswoman at PSEG Long Island.

A PSEG circuit breaker “tripped open” causing the outages at about 9:30 a.m., according to Greenport Mayor George Hubbard.

PSEG Long Island said it sent a service truck to Greenport Monday morning, and that power was restored at 11:48 a.m.

Further details were not immediately available.
