A Copiague man was killed early Saturday when Suffolk police said he crashed into a tree.

Police said Reny Cruz-Puente, 21, was driving a 2004 Honda Acura TSX, heading south on Deauville Boulevard in Copiague about 1:15 a.m., when he drove off the road near Kenmore Road and struck a tree.

He was ejected from the car and taken by ambulance to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip, where he was pronounced dead, police said.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the First Squad at 631-854-8152.
