An 18-year-old man from West Babylon was among five people killed in a fiery Massachusetts car crash early Monday morning, according to media reports.

The names of the victims will be released Tuesday, Massachusetts State Police said at a news conference.

Just after midnight, a driver going the wrong way on Interstate 495 in Middleborough crashed into a car with four students, including the West Babylon resident, causing the car to be engulfed in flames, a state police commander said, according The Boston Globe. The driver of the wrong-way car, a 31-year-old woman, also was killed.

All four students attended Massachusetts colleges. The Boston Globe on Monday night identified two of the victims as a 20-year-old student and a 19-year-old student at Anna Maria College in Paxton, Massachusetts. The other passenger was 19 years old.
