Silver Alert canceled for Ridge woman, Suffolk police say

A Ridge woman who went missing Wednesday has been found, Suffolk County police said on Thursday.

The woman, Anna Pennesi, 87, had been last seen at around noon, after she said she was going to meet a friend for lunch, according to police, who issued a Silver Alert after her disappearance.

Pennesi has since been located, police said.
