Riverhead Town police: 2 hurt in Calverton car crash

Two people were transported to Peconic Bay Medical Center with non-life-threatening injuries after a car accident Friday morning in Calverton, Riverhead Town police said.
Police did not release the identities of the two victims, but said no one was charged in the crash at 8:05 a.m. near the intersection of Grumman Boulevard and River Road.
Emergency responders included police and firefighters from Manorville and Riverhead Volunteer Ambulance.
