Man sought in Subway restaurant burglary in Riverhead, police say
Police are searching for a man who was caught on surveillance video smashing through the front door of a Subway restaurant in Wading River on Wednesday night, stealing $150 from the cash register.
Riverhead Town police said the burglary occurred at Route 25A store at about 10:15 p.m. It was not clear what evidence, other than the video, was recovered.
Police are asking anyone with information to call detectives at 631-727-4500.
