A 26-year-old Riverside man was arrested Wednesday, charged with aggravated sexual abuse and two counts of endangering the welfare of a child for an October incident involving a 6-year-old girl, Southampton Town police said.

Marvin I. Patzan was arraigned Thursday in Southampton Town Justice Court.

He was ordered remanded to Suffolk County jail in lieu of $25,000 bail, police said.

Police said the incident occurred at a home in Riverside, but would not provide additional details -- citing its "sensitive nature."
