Police are investigating an armed robbery at a Subway store Wednesday night in Ronkonkoma.
Suffolk County police said the robbery took place at the store on Portion Road at 9:40 p.m. No other details were immediately available.
Photos from the scene showed the store cordoned off by yellow police tape.
Police said the suspect, a man, entered the store, displayed a handgun and demanded cash. He then fled with cash, police said.
There were no reported injuries, police said.
Police said the robbery remains under investigation.
