No children were injured when the school bus they were passengers in collided with a car in Huntington Wednesday afternoon, police said, but the car's driver was taken to the hospital for treatment of nonlife-threatening injuries.

The bus, with 16 children onboard, turned left from La Rue Drive onto Southdown Road about 3:26 p.m., Suffolk police said, and collided with a Honda Civic that was traveling north on Southdown.

The Honda's driver was taken to Huntington Hospital for treatment.
