Police said Tuesday in an update on the case that they are looking for a green-metallic colored vehicle that probably was traveling east on Jericho Turnpike -- west of Manor Road -- when it struck a man about 9:30 p.m.

Victim Richard Wright, 31, of Huntington was airlifted to Stony Brook University Hospital with injuries to his head, a broken hip and a broken leg, according to police.

Anyone with information can call Crime Stoppers at 800-220-8477. All calls will be kept confidential.
