Transit police are looking for witnesses to a possible assault and abduction of a woman at the Ronkonkoma station of the Long Island Rail Road on Sunday, March 4.

A woman, whose identity is unknown to police, left the station 7:40 p.m. and is seen on a surveillance video being knocked down by a man, MTA police said.

A short time later she is seen knocked to the ground again, and then apparently forced against her will into the backseat of a car in which the man drives off, police said.

The vehicle was a light silver four-door Nissan Altima made in the late 1990s or early 2000s, police said.

Investigators asked that anyone with information about the incident call MTA police at 718-361-2207.
