Cops: Pedestrian hurt in Selden hit-run

A hit-and-run driver struck and injured a pedestrian Friday night in Selden, police said.
Ronald Lemire, 36, of Selden, suffered non-life-threatening injuries in the crash, Suffolk County police said in a news release. Lemire was walking southbound on Park Hill Drive around 10 p.m. when he was struck from behind.
Authorities said the vehicle continued southbound on Park Hill Drive, according to the release. Doctors at Stony Brook University Hospital treated Lemire after he was transported there by the Selden Fire Department Ambulance.
