Arson investigators are trying to determine the cause of a shed fire in the back yard of an unoccupied home in Selden early Wednesday, police said.

The fire at the home on Ruland Road was reported in a 911 call at 2:25 a.m., Suffolk County police said. The caller said a fire had broken out in a backyard structure, possibly a shed -- and responders found the shed ablaze in the yard.

Police said there were no injuries.
