A Georgia man was killed in a head-on crash on Joshuas Path in Hauppauge Saturday morning, police said.

Ruben Ferreira, 69, of Lawrenceville, was traveling north on Joshuas Path when his 2007 Nissan Murano swerved into oncoming traffic, colliding head-on into a 2013 Mercedes-Benz driven by Kenneth Cluen at 5:53 a.m., police said.

Ferreira was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

Cluen, 31, of Farmingville, was taken to Southside Hospital in Bay Shore for treatment of non-life-threatening injuries.

The roadway, which had been closed during the crash investigation, has been reopened.
