Several hurt in Commack wrong-way crash

Commack Assistant Fire Chief Andy Babajko said several people were injured in a head-on wrong-way collision about 8 Monday night near the intersection of Veterans Memorial Highway and Apple Lane in Commack.

None of the injuries appeared life-threatening, he said.

The injured were taken by Commack Ambulance to hospitals.

Suffolk County police were at the scene investigating the accident, Babajko said.
