Motorist crashes into Central Islip pharmacy, Suffolk cops say

Suffolk County police are investigating a hit-and-run incident after a car crashed into a Central Islip pharmacy Saturday night.
The car crashed into the Sheron Drugs pharmacy, 1629 Islip Ave., about 9:30 p.m. while the store was closed, according to Third Squad detectives.
The driver ran away from the crash scene before police arrived. Police have not determined what caused the crash.
