Shirley woman charged with DWI
A Shirley woman stopped for speeding in Flanders early Tuesday was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, police said.
Nicole Whelan, 21, was charged with DWI and speeding following the traffic stop on Flanders Road at 3:20 a.m., Southampton Town police said.
She is scheduled for arraignment Tuesday in Southampton Town Justice Court.
