Shooting outside Islip Terrace bar injures one

A 36-year-old man was shot in the leg outside an Islip Terrace sports bar early Sunday morning, Suffolk police said.

Shots were fired after an altercation broke out about 3:35 a.m. among a group of people in the parking lot of the Ethan Aya Sports Bar and Grill, 42 Lowell Ave., police said.

Richard Morales, of East Patchogue, was shot in the left calf and was treated and released at Brookhaven Memorial Hospital Medical Center, police said. No arrests have been made.
