Silver Alert canceled for Center Moriches man, police say

Suffolk County police said a Center Moriches man last seen on Monday has been found.
Johnny Williams, 70, of Cottontail Run, was found unharmed, police said in a Tuesday news release.
Williams, who has dementia, was last seen at his residence at about noon Monday, prompting police to issue a Silver Alert.
The Silver Alert program is designed to inform local media, hospitals and law enforcement agencies when a senior citizen or individual with mental or cognitive disorders is missing.
