Silver Alert issued for woman last seen in Queens

Suffolk County police issued a Silver Alert on Saturday for a missing Farmingville woman who has Alzheimer's disease.

Sara Respol, 74, was last seen Thursday morning walking away from the Pan American Hotel in Elmhurst, Queens.

She has blue eyes, short blond hair, weighs 115 pounds and is 5-feet-1. She was last seen wearing a black jacket, black sandals, long black shorts and a striped tank top. Respol also wears reading glasses.

Silver Alerts allow law enforcement agencies to publicize information when individuals with special needs are reported missing.
