Westbound lanes of Route 347 in Smithtown reopened after earlier crash

All westbound lanes of Route 347 at Brooksite Drive in the Town of Smithtown were reopened Tuesday afternoon after a midmorning crash had closed them, officials said.

The accident was reported around 10:20 a.m., police said, and it closed the westbound lanes. No further details were immediately available.

The westbound lanes were reopened at 1:30 p.m., police said.
