More than 20 Southampton businesses will be open late tomorrow in a “Stay Out Late — Starry Night” event.

Stores, salons and restaurants will keep their doors open until at least 8 p.m. in an event sponsored by the Southampton Town Business Advisory Council’s “Think Local Initiative.” The Southampton Arts Center will also host a screening of “Vincent Van Gogh: A New Way of Seeing.”

Councilman Stan Glinka said the event is part of an effort to “bring awareness” about what local businesses offer and to entice people to stay in town in the offseason.

“If it’s a success, we’re going to do it in every village and hamlet in Southampton,” Glinka said.
The event will coincide with Restaurant Week, which runs from March 26 through April 2.
