Eastbound lanes of the Southern State Parkway near North Amityville were re-opened Friday morning after one person was injured in a two-car crash, police said.

Suffolk County police said they received a 911 call about the crash near Exit 32 around 4:44 a.m. and closed eastbound lanes in that area. Traffic on NY 110 that merges onto the parkway was diverted, police said.

The roads were cleared at 7:03 a.m., Trooper Brittany Burton said.

New York State Police did not share the severity of the person's injuries or the cause of the crash.
