All lanes of the westbound Southern State Parkway and a nearby exit ramp in East Farmingdale have reopened after police cleared up two separate accidents there Tuesday afternoon, authorities said.

The parkway was closed after three vehicles crashed and came to a halt across several lanes at 1:30 p.m., about the same time two vehicles were involved in a crash at the Exit 33 ramp to Route 109, state and Suffolk County police said.

The lanes and ramp were cleared shortly after 2:30 p.m., police said.

No serious injuries were reported in the crashes, police said.
