Southold driver faces DUI charge
A Southold woman was arrested Friday night for driving under the influence of drugs, town police said.
The Southold Town Police stopped Janessa Andruski, 29, at 7:27 p.m. for a traffic violation near the intersection of State Road 25 and Depot Lane in Cutchogue. The officer determined Andruski was impaired by drugs and arrested her, transporting her to police headquarters. While Andruski was detained, authorities said they found drugs on her.
Andruski is in police custody pending arraignment.
