Southold man charged with DWI, pot possession

A Southold man was arrested on charges of unlawful possession of marijuana and driving while intoxicated after town police stopped him for a traffic violation Tuesday night.

Richard T. Pressler, 45, of 510 Tuthill Rd., was driving on Laurel Avenue when police pulled him over at about 9:21 p.m, police said.

Pressler appeared to be intoxicated, police said, and he was transported to police headquarters where he was held for arraignment.
