A Southold man was arrested on Saturday and charged with violating Leandra's Law after he drove while intoxicated with a minor in the car, Southampton Town police said.

Police said Jacob D. Riehl, 23, was driving on Flanders Road near Red Creek Road in Flanders at 1:12 a.m. Saturday when he was stopped by police.

He was arrested and charged with aggravating driving while intoxicated under Leandra's Law, endangering the welfare of a child and unlawful possession of marijuana.
