Roberto E. Bachez-Reyes faces charges in Greenport DWI crash, police say
A Southold man was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident after a crash on Second Street in Greenport, Southold Town police said.
Roberto E. Bachez-Reyes, 34, abandoned his vehicle after the accident at 12:54 p.m. Wednesday and fled into the woods, police said. He was located later "and found to be intoxicated," police said.
He was awaiting arraignment on the misdemeanor charges, police said.
