Southold man faces weapons, stalking charges
A Southold man who faces charges of stalking and harassment in a domestic incident Monday afternoon was found to be in possession of a .45-caliber pistol and a high-capacity ammunition magazine, police said.
Scott A. Kessler, 50, was charged with fourth-degree stalking, second-degree harassment and two counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon, Southold Town police said. Arraignment details were not immediately available.
Police did not detail the circumstances of the original incident. He was arrested at 2 p.m. Monday.
