Several main roadways will be closed Sunday for Huntington’s 83rd annual St. Patrick’s Day Parade, police said.

The thoroughfares will be closed from 12:45 to 4:30 p.m. and include Route 110 from the Long Island Rail Road station north to Main Street, and Main Street between Route 110 and Lawrence Hill Road, Suffolk County police said in an advisory.

On-street parking will be prohibited after 4 a.m. Sunday along Route 110 and Main Street, police said.

Motorists are urged to use alternate routes.

Town ordinances and state laws regarding the sale and consumption of alcoholic beverages will be enforced by the police department in addition to regulating traffic, police said.
