Steve Bellone announces easier beach access for those with disabilities

On Friday, Suffolk County Executive Steve Bellone announced new purchases and projects at three county beaches to increase accessibility, especially for those who are disabled. The improvements at Smith Point County Park, Cupsogue Beach County Park and Meschutt Beach County Park include installation of blue mobility mats on the sand to help people get closer to the water.
