Lindenhurst man who went missing has been found unharmed, police say

A Lindenhurst man with schizophrenia and diabetes -- and in need of his medication -- has been found unharmed after he had gone missing, police said.

A Silver Alert had been issued for Steven Roth, 55, who was last seen leaving 112 S. 9th St., the group home where he lives, at about 5:30 p.m. on Thursday, Suffolk police said.

By mid-afternoon Friday Roth had been "located, uninjured," police said. Further details were not released.
