Suffolk checkpoint snags 4 on DWI charges

A sobriety checkpoint in Huntington Station early Sunday morning netted four motorists who were charged with driving while intoxicated, Suffolk police said.
Police operated the checkpoint, set up at Route 110 and Church Street, from 1 to 3 a.m. and scanned 287 vehicles that passed through the area.
Bryan Wahl, 25, of Huntington, Whitney Peer, 25, of Centerport, Leonardo Clemons, 44, of Huntington, and Samantha Larkin, 35, of Amityville, were found to be driving while intoxicated and were arrested, police said.
All four were scheduled to be arraigned Sunday in First District Court in Central Islip.
