Copiague Harbor Beach, Lloyd Harbor Village Beach closed to swimming due to high bacteria

Copiague Harbor Beach and Lloyd Harbor Village Beach are closed to swimming because of elevated bacterial levels, the Suffolk County Department of Health said.

The department said in a news release Thursday that it had found bacterial levels in excess of acceptable standards.
