Suffolk police are investigating an incident in which a man was shot in the leg outside a Farmingville home on Wednesday night.
Police said two men who knew each other were arguing outside on Avenue D at about 5:45 p.m. when one man shot the other in the leg.
The victim suffered minor injuries, and no arrests have been made.
No further information from police was immediately available.
