Suffolk cops probe truck fires
An early-morning fire that destroyed two trucks on a commercial lot on the Brentwood-North Bay Shore border "appears to be a criminal act," arson investigators said.
The incident occurred at a concrete supply company on Garfield Avenue near Pine Aire Drive at about 2:15 a.m., Suffolk County police said.
Police said a commercial truck and a pickup truck were destroyed in the fire. No one was injured.
Police have not identified the cause of the fire, but said Wednesday the blaze appears criminal and the investigation is continuing.
