Suffolk expands SHARE initiative for active shooter situation

On Tuesday, Suffolk officials announced the expansion of the county's S.H.A.R.E. initiative, which was created for school districts, to allow supermarkets and big box stores to connect existing CCTV camera systems directly to the Suffolk County Police Department’s Real Time Crime Center at no cost.  Credit: Newsday / J.
