An 11-year-old Central Islip girl reported missing Sunday morning has returned home unharmed, police said late Sunday afternoon.

Jada Joseph, of East Cherry Street, was reported missing by her mother shortly before 4:30 a.m. after it was discovered she was not in her bedroom.

Police said Jada was last seen at her home about 10 p.m. Saturday.

Detectives had said they did not believe there was any foul play because the girl spoke with her mother by phone afterward and indicated she would return home Sunday morning. Police became concerned, however, when she had not returned or been located as of 12:30 p.m.
