Suffolk police cruiser in Shirley crash

A Suffolk County Police cruiser was involved in a collision Sunday night in Shirley.
There were no details available on how the crash occurred.
Police said they received a call at about 10 p.m. about a car crash on William Floyd Parkway near Victory Avenue "possibly involving a police vehicle," a spokeswoman said. She said she could not speak to the extent of any injuries.
The crash was being investigated, she said.
