Suffolk police find two unattended children in Westfield South Shore Mall

Suffolk police are looking for the caregivers of two young children who were found playing in a Bay Shore mall unattended Wednesday afternoon.
A girl and a boy, both estimated to be 3 or 4 years old, were found playing by themselves at the south end of the Westfield South Shore Mall near J.C. Penney and Panera Bread about 2 p.m. Police said they believe the girl's name is Abby, and the boy's name is Tyler, and they think the two may be cousins.
The girl was wearing a blue and purple Dora the Explorer knit cap, a black Nike jacket with pink lining, blue jeans and tan boots with hearts on them. The boy was wearing a red knit cap, a dark-colored jacket with a Montreal patch on the left sleeve, a gray and neon orange sweatshirt, and black and white Puma sneakers.
