Suffolk County police are investigating a swastika painted on a West Babylon homeowner's garage as a hate crime.

The swastika was painted on the garage on Forest Avenue, sometime between 7 p.m. Friday and 8 a.m. Saturday, police said. The vandalism was reported Saturday morning.

The department's Hate Crime Unit is investigating, but detectives have not identified any suspects. The homeowner's identity has not been released.
