Pedestrian hit by vehicle in North Amityville, say police
A pedestrian was seriously injured Friday night after being struck by a vehicle in North Amityville, Suffolk County police said.
First Squad detectives are investigating the crash, which happened on Route 110 at about 6:55 p.m.
The pedestrian was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital Medical Center in West Islip with serious injuries, police said.
No further information was immediately available.
